Galaxy Transformer is one of the many licensed distributions of MC Toy's prolific transforming robot toy line. They were distributed by the German company Simba Toys, now part of Simba Dickie Group and still going strong as of 2024.
While Simba is based in Germany, Galaxy Transformer was also sold in France, Italy and likely other surrounding regions assisted by multilingual backing cards. Simba also released a number of Silverlit's Multimac space construction toy sets under the Galaxy banner with titles such as Galaxy Space Transformer and Galaxy Super Transformer. They still contained the original Multimac instruction sheets.
All include both die cast metal and plastic components as well as the synonymous pull-back motors.

Release Date the Simba Toys company merged with Dickie Spielzeug (Dickie Toys) in 1993 to form Simba Dickie Group. The cardback printing technique and art style suggests early 90s and may be an indication of that merger as Dickie had previously released two of the MC Toy figures and possibly rekindled that license to distribute.
