For use with Robotron Figures by Buddy L
While not techincally part of the Robo Tron line, this one vehicle in the Power Drivers series was specifically themed and marketed for use with Robotron figures.
Power Drivers is a line of battery powered, motorised vehicles that includes a mix of converntional, sci-fi and fantasy vehicles. The are in a range of sizes and and related price brackets. One other vehicle in the line was designed to match in with Buddy L's transforming Bug Bots robot toy line.
The 4x4 Robot Rider features a gear shift control for forward, reverse and neutral allowing the wheels to speen freely. The dome and side compartment open to allow action figures to be inserted. The packaging also suggestes that the Robot Rider is suitable for other 3" articulated action figures and that it's compatible with, 'many changeable robots'.
While the 4x4 Robot Rider includes a rear hitching point, a similarly sci-fi themed trailer was not released.
