Changeable Robots
Pickup was created by REMCO for the Zybots toy line and released under the title, 'Zybots Changeable Robots'.
This model was designed from scratch, not initially prototyped from Gobots parts and was only released on the new red and yellow themed cardback featuring illustrated character art.
Pickup is constructed with the same wheels as Zybots Wrecker.
See main Zybots and Bibots index page for more details.

Zybots Changeable Robots 09 US Remco [XZ stickers, red roll bar, red rims] 1984
Zybots Changeable Robots 09 US Remco [pink stickers, pink roll bar, grey rims] 1984
Also re-released in 1992 for Bibots and as the variant Blue Bomber in the Zybots NEW Changeable Robots line; see those sections for details.
For blue version see Zybots NEW Changeable Robots section.
Pink Side Stickers Version: This one is an anomaly. The build design of the face matches the reissued version as the variant colour to the NEW Changeable Robots Blue Bomber figure; see that section. It also has the pink foil stickers very similar to the variant White Wonder from the same series. However it doesn't have the Macau leg stamp indicative of that line for this figure and is instead stamped Made in China as the original is. The only sighted release to date is in the Zybots Changeable Robots 10 Piece Deluxe Gift Set. The box shows Series II, III and IV figures assortments on the back and that places it around the time the NEW Changeable Robots line was about to be released. It's quite likely this is a
transitional figure from the China to Macau stamping eras.
Even though this sticker version is featured in the character art on the red and yellow blister card, an example to confirm it was actually distributed that way has not been sighted.
Distribution:
10 Pack - China 'XZ' or Pink side stickers with grey rims distributed on cardback, in the Multiforce set pack and in a ten pack with Chopper (black wheels), Earthbreaker (red body), Explorer, Hot Stuff (Macau), Mach 1, RPM 2, Torque, Trac and Wrecker (blue & red sticker grey rims).
China 'XZ' stickers with red rims; distribution format unknown - stamped China.
Multiforce Set - Yellow rims with 'XZ' stickers possibly only released in the Multiforce pack - stamping unknown.
