NEW Changeable Robots
Penetrator was designed by REMCO specifically for the Zybots NEW Changeable Robots figure series.
As with most NEW Changeable Robots it was released in more than one colour scheme and with variant stickers. Penetrator's colour scheme variation is limited to the silver or yellow stripe painted on the side skirt. The sticker variant (shown below) could be on either paint variant.
Penetrator's card describes the model as, 'Armored Track' while other figure cardbacks list it as, 'Futuristic Tank'. It was the first of the NEW Changeable Robots that wasn't a recolour of a previously released figure.

Both versions stamped Macau on the inside of one leg.
Card Variants Penetrator was originally attached to the card in robot mode facing forward, however later releases saw it issued in tank mode (presumably to better protect the turret). The yellow section of the card was not updated to match the new blister shape.
Sighted examples Carded in robot mode had a yellow stripe while carded in tank mode came with a silver stripe. This should not be taken as a strict guide as details are only sourced from a limited supply of figures. The green chest sticker has been found on both card versions.
