While still designed by Bandai, as with all Series 3 models Clutch was not released in Japan for Machine Robo.
For no obvious reason (choking hazard, etc.) Clutch has a significant number of variations between the American / Canadian offered figure an the toy released in other parts of the world; see comparison photo.
Clutch is also one of the few super scale figures to be released without an extra sticker sheet.
