Jeep Robo MR-28 / MRB-11
Originally designed in Japan by Bandai and released for their Machine Robo Series line as Jeep Robo the model was not long after issued as Jeep for the European Robo Machine release and Jeep Man as part of Australia's Machine Men. Tonka's US rebranded 'Gobots' distribution saw Geeper Creeper given his now most established name with the Robo Machine* and Machine Men lines adopting Gobots character names on figure re-release; predominantly to benefit from the Challenge of the Gobots cartoon.
* during the initial Robo Machine migration to Gobots character names a small selection of figures do not show the Gobots names on the front of the blister only. They appear only on the rear as part of the character assortment picture listing along with the original Robo Machine name. Geeper Creeper was one of these figures with the card rear showing, 'Jeep / Geeper Creeper'.
The character's name was misprinted on the Australian Machine Men card when the figure was first re-issued with the Gobots name as, 'Greeper Creeper'. It was later corrected on the rear of later release figure cardbacks showing Geeper Creeper in figure assortments. Currently a later release example with the name corrected on the front of the card has not been sighted.
Further details are below, on the Series 1 Index and for more in-depth reading see the Toy Line History page.

Machine gun placement there are two holes on the back of the jeep were the machine gun can be mounted. The furthest rear hole is to accommodate the inclusion of a roll bar with the Best 5 variant as in the forward hole position the machine gun facing forward can't be turned between the spotlights. While it's likely the roll bar was originally planed for the standard figure too it only made it into the Best 5 release. Some Best 5 Jeep Robo figures were packed with only the roll bar and not the machine gun. Placement of the machine gun on any model is purely up to aesthetic choice.
