Mighty Machine Men, Mighty Stickers!
In 1986 American based Nabisco teamed up with Australian Hanimex to offer a Hanimex colour camera as a mail way prize via Nabisco breakfast cereals.
Other prizes included a Machine Men Friendly Robot Battle Suit (Gobots Courageous) and a silver Machine Men Leader-1 that were given out when customers took the peel-off backing from a cereal box competition sticker along with a roll of film to have it processed at a Hanimex Colour Agent. The stickers were issued in Nabisco cereal boxes and there were ten to collect, all showing either Battle Suits or Super Machine Men models.
Interestingly the Baron von Joy shown is the gold Australian only release that too was part of an unrelated competition give-away.
While the Warpath sticker shows the Machine Men and Robo Machine green version, Cy-Kill is the US Gobots release with grey arms and not the silver arms versions distributed in Australian and Europe. The alt mode photo for Bug Bite is likely a concept shot with the word Beetle yet to be added to the side stickers. Both Battle Suits have their left hands on the wrong way around.
10 Stickers to collect; one inside each cereal box
100 Machine Men Hanimex Colour Cameras
100 Machine Men Friendly Battle Suits (Gobots Power Suit)
1 X Silver Leader-1 with every film roll processed by a Hanimex Colour Agent*
* Voucher on the peel-off back of the stickers.
