The Wendy's promotional Gobots are the only 600 series scale models designed by Tonka.
Unlike other like sized Gobots they were markets for ages three and up compared to five and up. Guide Star while often critisised for its simplicity is designed specifically for children under three years of age; no arms to break off or other small parts to inhale.
While very basic in design they are sturdy and surprisingly well made for a food chain premium toy of this era. The figures came on a blister cardback that included a bio about the character (something the regular line could have benefited from) and sold for 99c US.
