Gordy International were the number one company to go to to have your toy line's logo or a couple of character stickers whacked on an existing, low cost product and it sold as something new.
The Gobots Combo Flash is no exception. Essentially it's a flashlight with a whistle built into the main body, a magnifying glass hanging off the side and a piece of reflective adhesive tape on one surface. The idea was that it could be used to flash messages to your friends with the light, reflect the Sun with the sticker or sound the whistle. This was in a time when Guides, Scouts and like organisations were more popular and sending secret messages via practical means was far more novel.
To their credit, it did come with a 'long life' battery.
