Dinosaur Collection, later Dinotron Transforming Dinosaur Collection are a line of form changing robot to dinosaur toys released by Buddy L then DSI.
Stamping: Some Buddy L Dinosaur Collection figures were stamped Japan while others China or Hong Kong. Other Robotron figures originated in Japan with an initial release in that country under another line before being acquired by Buddy L. It's possible the dinosaur models also saw a Japanese release under a different line, possibly from a different company entirely. It's further likely that initial sock for Buddy L came from Japan then production moved to China to reduce costs. All DSI Dinotron models are stamped China.

One promotional image shows a DSI Dinotron three pack, however it's unconfirmed whether it was acutally released.

Stamping:
Buddy L Release '(c) 1985 Buddy L Corp Made in Japan' (right hip) OR the same with Made in Japan replaced with a raised, blank rectangle
DSI Release 'Made in China' (outer right robot leg) - Buddy L stamp removed and not replaced with DSI
* it is likely that 'Made in China' and 'Made in Hong Kong' versions also exist.
