Originally designed by MARK in Japan this figure was sold as part of their Gokin Robo toy line as 'Zoom Robo'.
MARK also released the model to the West in the United States, Canada and Australia (and likely other regions) via SELECT for Convertors and directly to Europe as part of their Robot Changers distribution.
Unlike most parallel released Convertors / Robot Changers figures, the name Zoom was used for both to lines.

Missile Firing The Japanese Zoom Robo release came with four green 'missiles' and a spring loaded firing feature in the chest. The firing spring was removed from the Convertors and Robot Changers distributions; likely for safety concerns. The missiles were green, however they were represented as yellow with red tips in the packaging art.
Extra Stickers In addition to the firing feature, the Japanese release included a sheet of optional, extra stickers.
