Name Unconfirmed - Robot Changers
Originally designed by MARK in Japan this figure was sold as part of their Gokin Robo toy line as 'Walkman Robo'.
MARK also released the model to the West in the United States, Canada and Australia (and likely other regions) via SELECT for Convertors and directly to Europe as part of their Robot Changers distribution.
At this time it's not been confirmed what the Robot Changers character names was. As Zoom and Focus mirrored their Convertors names it's likely the figure was called Walkman.
Convertors Specific
Walkman's chest sticker can either read 'Walkman Robo' or 'Selectman Robo'. Additionally the cardback will be printed with, 'Walkman' or, 'Selectman'. As with Convertors Spies Colt that was renamed to Gun, the name was changed presumably for copyright reasons. Finding Walkman figures on Selectman cards suggests there was a changeover period seeing already stickered figure stock exhausted before newly stickered figures were issued.
It's not known whether this was a response to legal action or a cautionary measure.
There are three Convertors card art versions:
1: Walkman shown as the character name and Walkman Robo on image of the character's chest.
2: Selectman shown as the character name and Walkman Robo still shown on image of the character's chest.
3: Selectman shown as the character name and the image of the character's chest showing only a red section, the name removed entirely.
See main Convertors & Robot Changers index page for more details.

Missile Firing The Japanese Walkman Robo release came with five red missiles and a spring loaded firing feature in the chest. The firing spring was removed for the Convertors and Robot Changers distributions; likely for safety concerns. The missiles were red, however they were represented as white with red tips in the packaging art.
Extra Stickers In addition to the firing feature, the Japanese release included a sheet of optional, extra stickers.
