CG-14 Machine Robo Change & Glow
Shuttle CG was released late in the run and is the only example of what would have been a third series of figures. The Series 2 catalogue shows Shuttle CG among other upcoming figures much in the same way the Series 1 catalogue teased Series 2's assortment. See, 'Unused Designed and Catalogues' section for more details.
Japanese Instructions Sheet Bio Practical Translation: 'From every angle, he's a cool design. Even though he has some scratches, he's pure and has a strong core. The white bodied Shuttle CG, symbolising innocence, has the best astronomy knowledge of all CG Robos and he himself says, "The galaxy is like your own garden. In my spare time I look at the stars and share my knowledge with my friends."
The interstellar dust that exists in outer space is fused with the Billemount Energy* to create, 'Metalist Energy'. When fired from the main booster on his chest it creates the, 'Pyremount Laser' and destroys the enemy. The energy emitted from the two main boosters is effective against a wide range of enemies. Maximum Power: 9,000 PS Maximum Speed: 700 km/h.'
* Billemount Energy (possibly 'Billemaun') is referred to a number of times in the character bios and while it could be a mistranslation, its representation is consistent. Any further information on this is very welcome.
Shuttle CG along with most of the later released figures does not contain any diecast metal in its construction.
It was also not featured in the TV advertisement, nor was it distributed in Europe as part of Bandai's Robo Machines line; as the first five were.
See CG Robo main index for more general details.
