CG-01 Machine Robo Change & Glow
Character Bio Japanese Practical Translation: 'Transforms into a Patrol Car. The leader of CG Robo with excellent mobility and a strong sense of justice he always confronts an incident with calm judgment. He's intelligent, has the ability to remember all incidents throughout the world and his excellent tracking ability is number one in CG Robo. His special ability, 'Patrick Flash'* releases all the Billemount* energy in the patrol lamps on his chest at once, instantly extinguishing the enemy. Maximum Power: 3,000 PS Maximum Speed: 350 kp/h.'
* unsure of the words パトリックフラッシュ 'Patrick Flash' however it seems correct. If anyone has a better translation please let me know. Billemount Energy (possibly 'Billemaun') is referred to a number of times in the character bios and while it could be a mistranslation, its representation is consistent. Any further information on this is very welcome.
The details in this character bio were drawn from various marketing sources and combined. Translation is as faithful to the original meaning as possible.
Patrol Car CG is one of seven models in the line to contain diecast metal in its construction and one of five (the first five) to appear in the TV advertisement.
This model was also released in Europe for Bandai's Robo Machines line in conjunction with a number of DX scale Machine Robo (Super Gobots). It was called, 'Chaser' and featured unique, 'RM-01' stickers that technically conflict with the 80s Robo Machine figure Moto's (Cy-Kill) designation of RM-01. Specific to Italy, they were distributed by Giochi Preziosi with box text printed in Italian.
See CG Robo main index for more general details.

TG-01 JOJO Toys Variations The bootleg's door stickers are swapped vs. the CG Robo version. The door windows are only painted to the front of the large window, the roof black paint is missing as are the LEDs. While it doesn't fit together in vehicle mode as well as the original, retention of the diecast metal section adds quality.
