Japanese Instructions Sheet Bio Practical Translation: 'He's a Chinese martial arts user and talented with weapons. If something is within the expansion and contraction range of the crane boom, anything can be lifted and moved. He's adept at using the Gale Tonfa (crane boom) and when spun by hand it repel enemies, knocking them back.
Gale Tonfa - When spun at high speed it creates a gale that crushes enemies in an instant! Even if fellow CG Robos use the Gale Tonfa it is impossible for them to wield it as well as Crane CG. This attack is unique to Crane CG who is highly skilled in Chinese martial arts.'
Fire CG Recolour - Crane CG is a recolour of Fire CG with a new head, boom and stickers. Even the date stamp on the metal section shows 1992. It retaining the metal sections from Fire CG makes is one of only two Series 2 CG Robo figures to include diecast metal in their construction.
It was also not featured in the TV advertisement, nor was it distributed in Europe as part of Bandai's Robo Machines line; as the first five were.
