Four Game Controller Adapter - Dismantled for reference and curiosity
The Team Tap is an expansion adapter for the Atari Jaguar game console that allows four controllers to be connected to either of the two Jaguar controller ports. Two Team Taps could be used at once, one per console controller port theoretically allowing up to eight players.
Although very capable in what it did, as with many add on peripherals it was poorly supported by software seeing only two games marketed for its use; 'White Men Can't Jump' (arguably one of the worst Jaguar games ever) and 'NBA Jam Tournament Edition'.
The Team Tap was sold separately in its own packaging as seen below or as a pack-in with the White Men Can't Jump game.
Did anyone actually have two Team Taps and eight controllers in one place to ever connect them all up?
As White Men Can't Jump and NBA Jam Tournament only support four players it's unlikely; although I'm sure someone is shouting right now, 'I DID! I DID!'
